It’s true. After 7 years and close to a billion dollars of private investment, the Buckhead Atlanta opening is finally here. I have been watching the 8-acre development take shape recently and I am excited to see a pedestrian friendly “district” that will encourage more walkability in Buckhead.
The new district is at the intersections of West Paces Ferry, Peachtree Rd, and Roswell Road. It just happens to be directly across the street from where Henry Irby birthed Buckhead in 1838 at his General store/Tavern. I feel like this is a major milestone for Buckhead and Buckhead Atlanta will serve as the impetus for redevelopment of the aging and unsightly commercial businesses that line parts of Peachtree and Roswell Roads.
• 275,000 square feet of luxury and best-in-class retail, restaurants, cafés and entertainment
• More than 124,000 square feet of custom office space
• 370 luxury residences in two high-rise towers
• 2,200 garage spaces, 200 surface parking spaces

The new Buckhead Atlanta district is in the Buckhead Village neighborhood. I believe that the impact of this development will continue to help some of the surrounding residential streets redevelop into prime walkable real estate. These homes and condos will soon be extremely appealing to buyers who crave walkability and an urban feel. These homes and condos for sale around Buckhead Atlanta are updated daily:
