The first time I met with Tom and Renee was nearly 3 years ago, after they had attempted to sell their Buckhead home with another Realtor. They were referred to me by a mutual acquaintance, and they had heard I was “different” with my approach to marketing and selling real estate.
The home is a totally unique, authentic Charleston style designed by William T. Baker located in Paces, one of my favorite Buckhead Neighborhoods. They are a wonderful couple, and it didn’t take long to get an overview of their true goals and motivation for selling. I advised them to wait until the market improved because they could get even more than they had been previously asking if we waited for the right time.
Three years after that meeting in their beautiful living room, my phone rang and Tom said, “You told me to call when we were ready…now we are!” Tom and Renee will share the rest of the story:
“We previously had our home on the market, and it had failed to sell. We brought in Ben Hirsh to discuss selling out home and told him exactly what are goals were. Ben put together a fantastic video presentation which attracted a buyer relocating to Atlanta. Within just 44 days we were under contract at the exact price we asked him to get for us!
Working with Ben is different because he understands the power of technology and how to use it. A web presentation is critical in attracting buyers to your home. He also sets reasonable expectations with regard to the market environment, which avoids surprises later on. He is a master of the process of getting a home ready to sell, and he is personally involved every step of the way. He exceeded our expectations in every way, and we highly recommend him if you’re thinking about selling your home. “

This particular home style is authentic Charleston, which is very unique in Buckhead. I selectively use video marketing to sell homes in Buckhead, and this one was a perfect candidate. This home could not be fully understood from just curb appeal; the beautiful architecture really needed to be showcased in a professional video so buyers could get “inside the home” to really appreciate it.
