If taking a leisurely stroll down Bolling Way, taking in the sights of Buckhead and interacting with locals and buying their homemade goods sounds like a nice Sunday to you, then The Market is the place to be.
On Sundays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., The Shops Buckhead is hosting The Market, an expanding hub of local farmers, artisans and instructors ready to share their craft with Buckhead residents and visitors.
The Market started on May 1 with thirteen vendors and has now grown to thirty. Anneliese Reid, marketing coordinator of The Shops Buckhead Atlanta, described The Market as a more intimate setting than a typical farmer’s market along with a “broader range of unique vendors.”
“It’s been an organic, grassroots process making our presence stronger in the community,” Reid said.
Along with complimentary parking for three hours, the Market, located between Flywheel and Corso Coffee, provides a child and pet-friendly environment for families to enjoy. Live music and yoga demonstrations will also be provided. While The Market is not to the same scale as the Peachtree Road Farmer’s Market, Buckhead is filled with a variety of vendors including, but not limited to: King of Pops, Atomic Icecream Sandwich, Café West, Urbana Wellness Spa, and rotating vendors such as OHBON Jewelry and Callie’s Hot Little Biscuit.
