I am a huge fan of the Peachtree Road Farmers Market which I, and most everybody else, refer to as the Buckhead Farmers Market. It is a great place to grab coffee and shop for organic local produce from local farmers who drive in with their produce and wares (Vendors here are only allowed to sell what they made or grew themselves, no reselling allowed).
Buckhead really feels like a small town at the market as visitors spend as much time chatting with friends as they do shopping. With chef demonstrations, live music, and good food, it’s a true community event.
Last year they added a Wednesday night market in addition to Saturdays and was so successful, they’re continuing with it this year. It will run 4:30-8pm every Wednesday through October. A different local brewery will be featured every Wednesday and “Wednesday evenings guest can enjoy farm to table fresh meals to enjoy at the market or take home. Live Music, chef pop-ups and local breweries make it the perfect evening.”
The two new vendors for 2017 are: Grateful Pastures – Eggs & Chicken, Rodger Greens & Roots Farm- Fruit and Veggies, and MayFlor Farm – Specialty produce, Asian herbs and fruit.
(The only vendor not returning is Preserving Place, who will be missed by all).
