Edifecs Inc., a global health information company based in Bellevue, WA that provides data management and data exchange solutions for many top healthcare plans has announced Buckhead Forest as the future home of its first East Coast office. Established 23 years ago in 1996, the company employs more than 550 associates across North America, Europe, and Asia. The Buckhead Forest location is set to employ around 200 associates in the next three to five years.
“When scouting locations for our East Coast office, Atlanta was a natural choice,” Sunny Singh, Edifecs President and CEO said in a press release. “Atlanta allows us to be closer to our East Coast customers, and the city has rich and diverse culture, a plethora of entertainment and arts and a strong public transportation system. We also have a strong focus on wellbeing and wanted to choose a location that enables our associates to enjoy the outdoors while also providing onsite wellness offerings.” Singh founded the company with the goal of providing a streamlined solution for medical professionals to track and process information. The software saves healthcare professionals time and effort all while reducing opportunities for errors.
The addition of this global tech company to Buckhead’s tech corridor further cements the community’s status as a prime destination for companies operating in the technology and healthcare industries. Edifecs has been consistently rated one of healthcare’s top 100 companies and has pioneered an initiative called the #WhatIRun social media campaign that intends to highlight women working in the healthcare fields and encourage diversity in STEM programs around the world.
