Delaware-based Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant has chosen Lenox Marketplace as the future home for their first Georgia location. At more than 7,770 sq. ft., the space will be the home of Iron Hill’s newest brewery with seating for approximately 250 guests in the bar and dining areas, with additional patio seating. This announcement follows the launch of the company’s “20 by 20” initiative wherein it plans to open 20 new locations by 2020, with the Buckhead location coming in at number 18 on the list of Iron Hill Brewery locations.
“After we were welcomed in South Carolina with open arms, we knew it was time to explore more of the south, and we have been eyeing Atlanta for some time, waiting for the right opportunity and location,” said Kevin Finn, Chairman of the Board and Director of Development at Iron Hill Brewery & Restaurant. The company has long been established in the Northeast and has been seeking the right locations to expand into the Southeast market. “Buckhead is a major commercial and financial center in Atlanta, and given its residential appeal, we knew this neighborhood was a perfect next step.”
While the menu for this Buckhead location has yet to be revealed, a glance at the company’s South Carolina location suggests the food offerings may include a broad menu that includes small plates of fried green tomatoes, soups, salads, burgers, and steakhouse favorites. Expect to see an array of seasonal and signature beers on tap and in cans from this independent brewery concept, hailed as the most award-winning brewery east of the Mississippi.
