On Saturday, November 28, the streets of Buckhead Village were decked out with holiday cheer for the first Sip & Stroll event. This holiday event will take place every Saturday through December 19 from noon to 6pm. Pop-up happenings, live music, performances, and an art stroll by Buckhead Art & Company (on display through Tuesday, December 1) welcomed shoppers who sipped on hot cocoa and roamed down avenues decorated with festive eucalyptus garland and twinkle lights. We even encountered a stylish Santa who said he was making a list and checking it twice.
Special stops include Biltong Bar’s “The Blitzen Room” holiday dining room transformation complete with vintage Christmas decor and seasonally themed cocktails, The Drawing Room’s “That’s A Wrap” wrapping service for gifts open through Christmas Eve, and alice + olivia’s toy drive which earns shoppers 15% off with toy donation.
On the weekend of December 11 you can catch a holiday flick at the Sleigh-In Holiday Movies at 309 Buckhead Avenue NE presented by Livable Buckhead as part of their Miracle on Peachtree celebration. Tickets are $25/car or $35 for double showings, with a $5 discount for members of Livable Buckhead and electric vehicles. Food and beverages are available via online ordering for Biltong Bar, Fado Irish Pub, and Taverna.
