The Kimpton Sylvan Hotel wants to get on your “Nice” list this holiday season by offering you multiple ways to celebrate in their signature retro style. Willow Bar will entice you to brave the cold to enjoy igloo domes and holiday décor. The outdoor restaurant will be decked out for the holidays November 26 through December 31. Menu highlights include “aprés ski classics” and holiday-inspired Cocktails. Here are the details from the Sylvan:
Wonderland at Willow Bar transports guests to a snowy winter getaway, offering Atlantans and visitors a chance to experience the best parts of the season complete with ski lodge-inspired igloo domes, twinkling lights and snowy holiday décor, and a festive sense of celebration. Wonderland at Willow Bar’s food menu will feature après ski classics with a distinct Willow Bar twist, including Grilled Cheese with Truffled Fromage Forte on Brioche; Local Sweet Potatoes with Smoked Honey and Lime; and a Grassfed Winter Burger with Charonnaise. The beverage program continues Willow Bar’s focus on natural wines, with Wonderland additions of “winter warmers” and craft cocktails, Belgian beers, mulled cider, and more. The Sylvan has lots planned for New Year’s Eve as well. Executive Chef Brandon Chavannes is putting together a 4-course tasting menu at The Betty, with optional wine pairings. From the Sylvan: “Menu offerings include a selection of various hors d’oeuvres, starters, mains, and desserts… including Crispy Brie, Lobster Bisque, Honey Roasted Duck, Slow Poached Halibut, Coconut Genoise, and more.”
