The German American Cultural Foundation moved the Atlanta Christkindl Market to Buckhead Village in 2021. The popular holiday festival has been welcomed by the community, and the German Christmas market is celebrating its 8th anniversary this year. The Atlanta Christkindl Market is open at the corner of East Paces Ferry Road and Bolling Way from November 22 through December 24, 2024.

Events like the Atlanta Christkindl Market are part of the GACF’s ongoing mission to promote and preserve German language and culture in the southeastern US. Enjoy traditional German food, like brats and schnitzel, and stay warm with hot chocolate, cider, and mulled wine. Explore more than 50 vendors to discover the perfect holiday gift. You’ll find toys, jewelry, and traditional German handcrafts. Stop by Santa’s house for a photo with the big man himself!

Additional location for 2024

Atlanta Christkindl Market is adding a second festival location for the 2024 holiday season. Shoppers and diners can experience the German Christmas vendors at Galleria on the Park near the Cobb Galleria Center. The hours for the new location will be the same as the Buckhead Village location.
