Music fans, rejoice!
The Chastain Park Amphitheatre summer music series is back.
And it’s better than ever.
When summer nights cool and fireflies come out to dance, you’ll want to head outdoors to enjoy Buckhead’s best music venue.
If you’ve never been to this gorgeous outdoor venue, you’re in for a real treat. Between the natural setting, the new renovations, and the huge line-up, you may just want to snag a series holder ticket membership.
This summer an eclectic mix of music artists will hit the stage, including superstars like Harry Connick, Jr., Lauryn Hill, and John Fogerty with ZZ Top.
The venue recently announced its 2018 Delta Concert Series, which promises to be a hot one as the venue recently underwent $5 million dollar renovations.
Guests can still picnic in the lawn area, and BYOB is encouraged for most shows. Concessions are available for those who aren’t interested in lugging around a cooler.
Individual tickets are on sale now, so don’t wait too long to buy your tickets! Below, we’ve rounded up all the details for music fans.
Rain or shine, the show must go on.
What can I expect?
This unique outdoor venue seats nearly 7,000 fans, and most shows allow patrons to bring their own food and drink. Those who buy lawn seats can enjoy a picnic-style concert under the stars. Select shows offer table dining for up to six guests to enjoy a meal and show together in certain seating sections.
What’s been renovated at Chastain Park Amphitheatre?
The original restrooms — dating back to WWII-era — have been demolished and rebuilt. Two-story buildings now stand where the concessions once were and will house both concessions and admin offices. New box seats, a heightened stage, and an open, expanded plaza will offer a better music experience.
Additional ADA seating is being added to the front of the venue as it currently is only in the back.
The venue is also going by a new name: State Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park. But most folks know it as Chastain Park Amphitheatre, or simply as Chastain Park.
How do I buy tickets?
The official website to buy tickets is ChastainSeries.com. The site offers a seating chart for pricing and available seats. If you need handicap seating, call 404-233-2227 for more details.
Take note: Print your tickets at home or use your mobile device on the day of the show. Otherwise, a $3-$18 ticket delivery fee is added to your total if you need tickets mailed.
What should I bring?
- Your ticket! Tickets are required for anyone who enters the park, regardless of age.
- Weather gear. An umbrella (no golf umbrellas) or poncho, in case it rains.
- Blankets. If you bought lawn seats, you’ll want to be comfy. Lawn chairs aren’t allowed.
- Food and drinks. Most shows allow coolers inside, so bring your favorite adult beverages!
What’s a table set-up concert?
Some shows offer the ability to kick back and really relax. Seating is split into tables for six guests, orchestra seats, and general lawn admission. Orchestra seats offer an area for guests to set up TV trays if they wish.
Some shows have a strict “no coolers/no tables” policy, depending on the artist’s request. Check your tickets prior to the show for restrictions.
Where is Chastain Park located?
State Bank Amphitheatre at Chastain Park is located at 4469 Stella Drive Atlanta, GA 30327.
What about parking?
There are several lots close to the venue. Handicap parking is by Gate 1 on Elliot Galloway Way NW.
Is smoking allowed?
Despite the venue being outdoors, smoking is not allowed in any area of the amphitheatre.
