The Peachtree Road Farmers Market was forced to cut the 2020 season short due to the coronavirus pandemic. However, The Market has been busy helping connect their vendors with customers since last March. You can visit the Market’s website to find links to vendors’ websites, tips for preparing your vegetables, and even how-to videos produced by local chefs.
It’s wonderful that the Market has been doing so much to help the local producers, but I’m sure the vendors are all chomping at the bit to see their customers in real life again. The Peachtree Road Farmers Market will open March 6, 2021 for their 15th season at The Cathedral of St. Philip at 2744 Peachtree Road NW. You can visit the local organic farms and other vendors Saturdays from 8:30am until 12:00pm.
In order to help create a safe environment for vendors and shoppers there will be a few covid protocols in place for this season. Sellers and patrons will be required to wear masks at the market, and there will be no onsite food consumption. Pets will not be allowed, and organizers ask that only one person per household attend if possible in order to provide more space for social distancing. Check the Covid Modifications page on the Peachtree Farmers Market website for complete details.
