The Blue Heron Nature Preserve features 30 acres of pristine parklands, wetlands, and trails that border the shores of Nancy Creek. Located conveniently off of Roswell Road, the Preserve is a City of Atlanta park and is free and open to the public. In addition to the natural beauty of the site, a community garden, turtle sanctuary, and outdoor art exhibits can be found on the grounds. The 3-mile Blueway Trail links the sections of the Preserve: the Woodland Loop, Emma Wetlands, and Land O Lakes.
