The Paul Koshewa Trail (AKA The Kosh Trail) is the cross country track/ nature trail that circles the campus at The Westminster schools. It is on private school property, but Westminster generously allows its neighbors to use the trail for recreation. You will experience some school traffic in a few areas, but most of the trail is peaceful and quiet. Much of the 1.93-mile trail follows Nancy Creek. Look for the blue herons in nesting down in their rookery along Nancy Creek if you walk the trail late in the afternoon.
The trail is mostly through natural wooded areas on the perimeter of the sprawling campus. Along the hike, you will be treated to occasional views of sports fields and various buildings. For the most part, this trail nearly immerses you in a beautiful slice of nature!
The Kosh Trail was named for Col. Paul Koshewa, a founding member of Atlanta Track Club, a legendary cross country and track and field coach at Westminster, and a decorated war hero.
The Kosh Trail is located on the campus of The Westminster Schools. 1424 West Paces Ferry Rd NW, Atlanta, GA 30327
